SuperKids Happiness Box - Spreading Happiness
For many children in Rwanda’s primary schools, joy and play are becoming a luxury. Most of these children come from vulnerable families, often burdened by poverty, domestic conflict, and emotional stress at home. Their schools, though committed to learning, often lack the resources – sports facilities, games, or spaces – to let kids simply be kids.
At Y4Y Rwanda, we believe that every child deserves moments of pure happiness, no matter their background. That’s why we created the SuperKids Happiness Box – a traveling kit filled with games, playful tools, and creative activities designed to bring smiles, laughter, and connection into schoolyards across the country.
What We Do:
- We visit under-resourced schools with our SuperKids Happiness Box full of fun, safe, inclusive games.
- We help children relax, bond, and express themselves — promoting emotional wellbeing.
- We work alongside teachers to build a culture of play and positive energy.
- We help create memories that remind every child: “I am seen. I matter. I can smile again.”
This simple act of bringing joy and play into their day helps children breathe in fresh air – not just physically, but emotionally.
Because a laughing child is a child who is healing, learning, and growing.
Youth for Youth (Y4Y) Rwanda is a youth-led movement dedicated to empowering young people to lead purposeful lives and become agents of change in their communities.
